Direct admission into the 3rd Semester (2nd Year) of B.Tech for Diploma holders and B.Sc graduates via BCECE (LE).
Admission Overview
Lateral Entry allows eligible candidates to bypass the first year and join directly from the 3rd semester. It is conducted solely based on the BCECE (LE) rank.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma Holders
Passed 3-year Diploma in Engineering with at least 45% marks (40% for Reserved Categories).
B.Sc Graduates
Passed B.Sc Degree with Mathematics in Class 12th. Engineering Graphics/Mechanics must be cleared in 2nd year.

Admission Process Step-by-Step
Online Application (BCECE Board)
Register online at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in when the notification is released (usually in April/May).
Admit Card & Entrance Exam
Download admit card and appear for the BCECE (LE) offline examination covering Engg Mechanics, Math, and English.
Rank Card Declaration
Results are declared in the form of a Rank Card (General & Category Rank).
Online Counseling (Choice Filling)
Register for counseling (UGEAC-LE) and fill GEC Lakhisarai as your top preference.
Seat Allotment & Reporting
Download allotment letter and report to the reporting center for document verification and admission.
